Annual General Meeting, 2022

Our Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday, 17th November in Teagasc, Dundalk. It followed the usual pattern and, in the end, the old committee was re-elected - anyone else who is interested in participating, your help will be gratefully accepted:
  • Chairperson: Paul Boyle
  • Vice Chair: Arjan van Rossum
  • Secretary: Anna Monaghan
  • Treasurer: Brendan Murray
  • Education Officer: Jim Agnew
  • Apiary Manager:  Martin O'Rourke
  • Committee members: Liam O'Reilly, Billy Campbell

Jim Carroll was awarded beekeeper of the year.

Heartfelt thanks were extended to all those who gave their time and energy to organising and running the Honey Show, and to Anna Monaghan for her hard work in keeping the association ticking over.

Danielle from Newry & Mourne said a few words on the success of the new LBKA apiary near Newry.

The annual membership fee is unchanged for 2023 and all members are encouraged to pay as soon as possible. The price increases from January 1st, so it's in your own best interests to pay now!
